3 Piece Place Setting

Sale Price: $122.00 Original Price: $136.00

Three pieces, one setting: a Dinner Plate, an Appetizer Plate, and a Tasting Bowl. It is the shortest route to a complete table and where we point most people first. Bought as a set it comes in 10% under the pieces bought separately, and it is where most of our registries start.

Every piece is made by hand in our Providence, Rhode Island studio from our proprietary porcelain, so the whole setting is chip-resistant, crack-resistant, and built to come back from daily use looking the way it did. Start here, then add serving pieces and extra bowls as the table grows.

Made to Order. Ships in approximately three to four weeks.

Choose one glaze for the whole setting. Building a larger table in more than one glaze? Order this listing more than once and split the count. Twelve settings might be four Nightfall, four Rosewood, four Dove.

For a different glaze on each piece within a single setting, that is a separate listing. Shop the mix and match version →

Three Ways to Build Your Set

Our glazes were built to be mixed. Start with the one you are drawn to and go from there.

  • Myrth porcelain place setting in Nightfall, dinner plate, appetizer plate, and tasting bowl all in one glaze.

    ONE COLOR

Every piece in the same glaze. Calm on a table, easy to add to later, and how most sets go out the door. If your dishes live on open shelving, this is the one that reads as part of the room.

  • Myrth place setting mixing glazes by form, Nightfall dinner and appetizer plates with a Dove tasting bowl.

    MIX THE SETTING

Two glazes in one setting, split by what the pieces do. Plates in one, bowls in another. Or hold the setting in a single glaze and let one piece break it, a Canyon Tasting Bowl against a Moonlight setting. Think about what you cook in each piece and let that decide.

  • Three Myrth porcelain place settings, each in a single glaze: Rosewood, Canyon, and Verdigris.

    MIX THE TABLE

Each setting stays one glaze, and the glaze changes from setting to setting. Twelve settings might be four Nightfall, four Rosewood, four Dove. Set four for a Tuesday and the table is quiet. Set all twelve and it comes alive. This is how we buy it ourselves.

Our Core Glazes

Think about what food you put in the piece. A glaze is the background and the food is the subject. Pale food like pasta or rice looks one way against a saturated glaze and another against a quiet glaze. Neither is wrong, they are different meals. What you cook is the best guide to which colors you need. Bright food on a bright glaze can be the whole point some days. Most people end up with a few, so they can choose by the meal or by the mood.

  • Moonlight | Warm, Satin Off-White Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    MOONLIGHT

Warm off-white with a satin matte finish. Absorbs light softly rather than reflecting it. The most versatile neutral in the collection, present on a table without competing with food or other glazes.

  • Verdigris | Dappled Blue-Green Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    VERDIGRIS

Blue-green with a dappled gloss patina texture that shifts with light, cooler in daylight, warmer under incandescent. Up close the surface has a geological depth, like aged copper. Our most visually complex glaze in person.

  • Nightfall | Deep & Dappled Navy Blue Glaze | Myrth Ceramics by Myrth

    NIGHTFALL

Deep navy over a satin base with a dappled gloss speckle, small areas of higher gloss that catch light differently from the surrounding surface. Near-black in low light, distinctly blue in natural. Grounding on a table, striking up close.

  • Dove | Warm Grey Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    DOVE

Warm grey with subtle lavender undertones and a satin matte finish. Reads as neutral in most light but adds something you can't quite name. Works equally well alongside the warm glazes and the cool ones.

  • Canyon | Warm Terracotta With Sandy Speckle | Myrth Ceramics

    CANYON

Warm terracotta with a fine umber speckle across a satin matte surface. The speckle varies naturally from piece to piece, so a mixed table of Canyon reads as alive rather than uniform. Earthy in natural light, picks up red warmth under incandescent.

  • Rosewood | Warm Cocoa Brown | Myrth Ceramics

    ROSEWOOD

Warm cocoa brown with red undertones and a textured soft gloss finish. Where the glaze thins at the rim it breaks to a thin copper-rose line. Velvety in low light, warmly luminous in natural light.
