Restaurant-grade Myrth porcelain dinnerware stacked for evening service
Mix and match Myrth porcelain place settings in dove, rosewood, and canyon glazes

Our Materials

Every Myrth piece begins with our proprietary clay body, developed through rigorous in-house formulation. Our custom porcelain recipe delivers restaurant-grade durability against chipping and cracking, along with superior heat retention to keep food perfectly warm. We wear-test every clay recipe using pieces in our own home and giving tableware to restaurants to prove performance in real kitchens.

Our clay and glaze recipes contain no lead, cadmium, or other toxic ingredients. This isn't a marketing claim, it's a baseline we set for ourselves from day one, both because you don't want those materials in your kitchen and because we don't want to handle them in the studio.

Our glazes are created from scratch, starting with base recipes developed in-house, then refined through countless micro-batches and firing tests for color and surface finish. We continually retest our core glazes to ensure consistency. Myrth glazes are truly unique to our studio and unavailable anywhere else.

Our color palette evolves slowly, with core colors running for roughly two years so you have time to build your collection mindfully. Occasionally, materials shortages may reduce a glaze's run. Seasonal colors are available on a rolling basis.

All our ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe. Over time, marks left by silverware may form on the glaze surface. These can be removed by buffing with a powdered cleanser like Bon Ami on a damp sponge or Scotch-Brite pad.

Current Glazes

  • Moonlight | Warm, Satin Off-White Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    MOONLIGHT

A warm, sophisticated off-white with a satin matte finish that absorbs light softly rather than reflecting it. Understated enough to work with everything — lets food and other glazes take the foreground. The most versatile neutral in our palette.

  • Verdigris | Dappled Blue-Green Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    VERDIGRIS

Blue-green with a dappled gloss patina texture that shifts significantly with light — cooler in daylight, warmer under incandescent. Up close the surface has an almost geological depth, like natural patina on aged copper. Our most complex glaze to photograph and most visually interesting in person.

  • Nightfall | Deep & Dappled Navy Blue Glaze | Myrth Ceramics by Myrth

    NIGHTFALL

Deep navy with a dappled gloss speckle over a satin base — small areas of higher gloss that catch light differently from the surrounding surface, like a night sky. Dark enough to read as near-black in low light, distinctly blue in natural light. Striking up close; grounding on a table.

  • Dove | Warm Grey Glaze | Myrth Ceramics

    DOVE

Warm grey with subtle lavender undertones and a satin matte finish. Reads as neutral in most light but adds something you can't quite name to a table. Works equally well with the warm glazes (Rosewood, Canyon) and the cool ones (Verdigris, Nightfall). The glaze that makes everything else look better.

  • Canyon | Warm Terracotta With Sandy Speckle | Myrth Ceramics

    CANYON

Warm terracotta with a fine umber speckle distributed across a satin matte surface. The speckle pattern varies naturally from piece to piece — a mixed table of Canyon pieces feels alive rather than uniform. Earthy in natural light, picks up more red warmth under incandescent.

  • Rosewood | Warm Cocoa Brown | Myrth Ceramics

    ROSEWOOD

Warm cocoa brown with red undertones and a textured soft gloss finish. The defining detail is a soft leathered texture that gives depth and softness as light passes over the surface. Velvety in low light, warmly luminous in natural light. The glaze that surprises people most up close.

Various ceramic bowls and cups in shades of teal and gray are arranged on a light-colored surface.

Lead-free, non-toxic porcelain tableware made in Providence, Rhode Island.
