Ume Studio Edition: Drinkware

Ume is our spring seasonal glaze, available through the end of July. A luminous pale chartreuse, the yellow side of green. Named for the Japanese plum, made to order in our East Providence, Rhode Island studio. When the season ends, Ume retires. No restocks.

The Sake Cup Set — Two handcrafted porcelain cups, 4oz each. Sized for sake, espresso, tea, or a side of sauce. Designed in collaboration with Boston's award-winning sake bar The Koji Club, the form is compact and palm-sized. Ume reads particularly well at this scale — the glaze catches light differently in a small vessel, more immediate, more present. A set of two.

The Swig Cup — An 8oz handleless cup for coffee, tea, wine, or whatever the moment calls for. The one vessel that replaces half your cabinet. Its weighted base and smooth rim make it feel intentional in the hand whether you're reaching for a morning latte or an evening pour. In Ume, it earns a place on the table any time of day.

Both pieces pair well with all colors, but most especially Canyon, Nightfall, and Verdigris from our permanent collection. Made to order, ships in approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

  • Myrth tableware is built for daily life — dishwasher and microwave safe, with exceptional durability. Over time, silverware may leave faint marks on the glaze surface.
