Limited Edition Cutting Vase

$60.00

The Cutting Vase started its life as the Tumbler, one of Myrth's original drinkware pieces from our earliest days. We retired it from the drinkware line years ago, but somehow it never left the studio. It turns out a small, narrow-mouthed vessel is exactly right for short garden cuts: a few stems of whatever's blooming, a quick trim, dropped in. No thought required and it always looks good.

This is a slip-cast porcelain piece, handcrafted in our East Providence, Rhode Island studio using our proprietary clay body. It belongs in every room and looks good in all of them. A small object with a long history in our studio.

  • Slip-cast porcelain, handcrafted in our Rhode Island studio

  • Originally the Myrth Tumbler drinkware piece, reclaimed for the cutting garden

  • Proprietary porcelain clay body with food-safe glaze

  • 5.5"H x 325"W | Opening: 2.5"W

  • Handcrafted in small batches — slight variations make each piece unique

  • In stock and ready to ship

  • The Pilar Vase is made from the same proprietary porcelain clay body as our tableware — the same material trusted by restaurant kitchens for daily use. Chip-resistant and crack-resistant, with lead-free glazes that hold their depth and color for years. A piece you buy once.

  • Our vase palette features glazes developed in-house, available in colors that complement any interior. Each piece is unique — subtle variations in glaze depth and texture are a natural result of the hand-crafting process.

  • Rinse with warm water. For a thorough clean, hand wash with mild dish soap — no dishwasher needed for a vase. To remove any mineral deposits from water, a soft cloth and a small amount of white vinegar works well.

  • Our clay and glazes are formulated entirely in-house using standard ceramic minerals — never lead or cadmium. The same materials and process used for our dinnerware trusted by professional kitchens.
