Basso Bowl

$60.00

The Basso Bowl was designed for foods like pasta, risotto, and anything saucy or brothy. The low wide shape provides an ample flat surface to plate and cut food, while the shallow curved rim contains sauces and liquids.

This bowl/plate hybrid takes its name from the Italian word basso meaning low or shallow. You’ll find the Basso is an absolute a joy to plate food in. Perfection for pasta - noodles, shaped, in brodo - they all present beautifully in the Basso. It’s the saucier dishes like curry, brothy beans, bourguignon, mussels, and polenta where the Basso really shines, and where you’ll have the most fun plating and eating!

The low wide shape of the Basso is also good choice if you are low on storage. These bowls nest lower than our Helping Bowls.
