Mug

$48.00

The Mug is a handcrafted porcelain coffee mug designed to be the one you reach for every morning. At 12oz, it's sized for a generous pour of coffee, a big cup of tea, or a frothy cappuccino. We spent a long time getting the handle right — a soft curve on the underside with a smooth spot to rest your thumb, so it feels natural and comfortable from the first sip to the last. Unlike our jiggered plates and bowls, the Mug is slip cast — a process that preserves subtle variations in form, giving each mug its own handcrafted character.

Made by hand in our East Providence, Rhode Island studio, each Mug is formed from our proprietary porcelain clay body for lasting durability. Chip-resistant and crack-resistant, with food-safe glazes formulated without lead or cadmium. Pairs beautifully with our Morsel Plate as a saucer for hot beverages — a combination our customers and restaurant clients love.

  • Handcrafted in Rhode Island, USA

  • Chip-resistant and crack-resistant porcelain

  • Lead-free, food-safe glazes

  • Dishwasher and microwave safe

  • 4"W x 5"H | 12oz capacity

  • Every Myrth piece is crafted from proprietary clay and glaze recipes developed in-house. Our custom porcelain delivers restaurant-grade durability—engineered to resist chips and cracks while providing superior heat retention to keep food warm from kitchen to table. All pieces are dishwasher and microwave-safe for effortless everyday use.

  • Our palette features six complementary glazes designed to work beautifully together. Mix colors freely to create a table that feels uniquely yours.

  • Myrth tableware is built for daily life—dishwasher and microwave-safe, with exceptional durability. Over time, silverware may leave faint marks on the glaze surface. These are easily removed by gently buffing with a powdered cleanser like Bon Ami on a damp sponge or Scotch-Brite pad.

  • Our clay and glazes are formulated entirely in-house using standard ceramic minerals—never lead or cadmium, which you don't want in your dishes and we don't want to handle in the studio. This careful approach creates porcelain with restaurant-grade strength against chipping and cracking, plus superior heat retention that keeps your food at the perfect temperature.
