The Cutting Vase started as the Myrth Tumbler, one of our original drinkware pieces. We retired it from the line years ago and it never left the studio, because a small vase with a narrow mouth turns out to be exactly right for short garden cuts. Small enough for a spot that wouldn't take a full arrangement: a bedside table, a windowsill, the back of a desk.
Seconds are pieces that didn't pass our quality check: a glaze run, a bubble in the surface, a slight warp. None of it changes how a piece works on a table. The product photos here show first-quality pieces. The last photo shows the kind of variation to expect.
