This little beauty was the very first piece loaded into the kiln. It was placed at the front of the kiln at the foot of the main firebox. This resulted in some of the most dynamic wood ash variation we have achieved on a piece. The vase was bathed in ash which produced stream of tones from creamy light green to deep slate blue with a subtle hit of fiery orange at the foot. She's quite the stunner.
Hand thrown and fired in reduction atmosphere.
