Myrth Ceramics Terms and Conditions
We are excited to offer our vessels for domestic or international sale, all pieces are designed, produced, and shipped out of our studio located in Allston Massachusetts by designers Abigail & Eric Smallwood. Work available on the webshop are made to specific dimensions but may have slight variations piece to piece in both proportion and glaze application due to their handmade nature. It is our intention that each piece purchased and shipped be the closest representation of the product photographed.
Domestic and international shipping available through MYRTH Ceramics is sent via UPS. Items will be packaged within one week of purchase through the webshop then scanned and carried by UPS for delivery. Domestic shipping within the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada on order totals of $200 or less will be sent via UPS Ground or 3 Day Select and arrive up to ten business days after packaging at our Allston Studio. Domestic order totals of $200 or more and all international orders will be sent via UPS 3 Day Select and arrive up to three business days after initial packaging. Handmade and fragile products can be expensive to ship, we've found using the delivery methods above ensures that each piece will arrive to you in its original condition.
All packages shipped will require an adult signature upon delivery to properly reach the intended recipient. If a signature is not immediately obtained, UPS will supply a signature slip allowing a written signature to be transferred without both parties present. UPS will attempt 2 home or business deliveries requiring a signature. If a signature is not obtained after two delivery attempts, package(s) will be held at a local UPS location for 5 business days before the package is returned to the sender. Please contact UPS at 1-800-782-7892 for the specific local address your package may be held.
Please note we will need a detailed address for delivery and cannot ship to a PO Box.
We offer in-studio pick up for online orders. We do this for a few reasons: to help reduce our environmental impact as shipping is very resource draining, we love meeting our customers in person, you get to see exactly where your vessel was made and by who, and lastly it may be a little easier for you vs waiting for delivery especially if you live close.
When you select “pick up in studio” at checkout you agree to the following terms: You will provide your desired pick-up instruction at checkout. MYRTH will correspond to arrange final pick up details. All orders must be claimed within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. Items not picked up within this window will be forfeited without refund. Once the item is in your hands, we cannot refund for any damage incurred in getting it to your final destination.
Order Cancellation/Returns/Damaged Items-
If you decide you’d like to cancel an order after it had been placed, MYRTH Ceramics can seize processing and issue a refund before the product has been shipped. After an order has been processed and shipped it is not possible to change an order in any way including shipping address, changing the specific product ordered, item quantities, or color/glaze variations.
We also accept item returns within 5 days after delivery if you are not pleased with your purchase and will issue a full refund (minus shipping costs) when each item is received at our studio in Allston in its original condition. Return shipping costs will not be refunded. Items must be returned in their original, perfect condition to receive a refund.

If any item is damaged during shipping and observed upon opening your delivery, email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org with a photograph of the damaged item & all packaging. Please include a full description of the damage in your email. All claims must be sent to MYRTH within 2 days of delivery. We will ship a replacement product to you and process any shipping claims with UPS. Should you notice excessive damage to the exterior of the package at delivery, please refuse acceptance and the carrier will return it to us for assessment.
Made to Order Product (MTO)-
Orders containing MTO products which include registry items, custom product, or wholesale orders are final sale and will not be accepted for return or exchange. In the case of damage in shipping, we will work with the recipient to have the item replaced in a timely manner.
Registry orders follow our webshop terms with exception to shipping & returns. These orders are made to order, whereas webshop items are ready to ship. All registry orders will be batched quarterly (3 month basis) and then made thereafter. We will provide the the couple with delivery information at the end of each quarter. Dispatching orders in grouped fashion allows us to reduce the amount of shipments the recipient receives and is more environmentally responsible which is of high importance to MYRTH.
Since these are custom, made to order vessels we do not accept returns on them, unless the item was damaged in shipping. In this circumstance we will work with the recipient to have the item replaced in a timely manner.
